A collection of paintings by Lars Hegelund
Lars Hegelund graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Copenhagen and has for many years been active within art, design and architecture in his native country as well as in the US. He has received significant grants and awards from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in Denmark (The National Foundation of Art) and has lectured regularly at major European universities including Oxford and Cambridge in the UK. He has had several books on art and design published and has been featured in television productions by the National Danish Television. In a spirited approach to non representational painting Lars Hegelund explores painterly concepts of arcetypic properties.
