John Lynn was a much sought after London painter of shipping and coastal scenes. He exhibited at the British Institution and the Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street. Lynn is a rare artist but according to Brook Hart his works are of ‘an exceptionally high quality’. At international auctions paintings by this important artist have fetched prices in excess of $ 60,000. Additional literature accompanies this exquisite and historic work.
