A Large Likely Italian 19th Century Grand Tour Bronze sculpture of ‘The Dying Gaul’

This classical sculpture, the original of Hellenistic origin, was until the 20th century commonly known as ‘The Dying Gladiator’. You will notice this older title lightly incised on the bottom of the statue. L 21 in. H 11 in. W 10.5 in. It appears the the statue formerly has been mounted on a marble or wood base.
